Mental Health Awareness Week (or any week for that matter)

It’s been a crazy, uncertain 18 months for us all. Whether you’ve had periods where you’ve been unable to keep your business going, had to juggle working from home and being a parent, or you’re still figuring out the ‘new normal’. We've all been on a bit of a rollercoaster and it can take its toll. In fact, feeling a bit out of sorts is normal right now!

2021 - its all about wellbeing

The focus of Mental Health Awareness week this year is wellbeing. If you haven’t had much time to focus on yourself, or those around you, now might be a good time to stop and think for a moment. What does your wellbeing look like? What about the wellbeing of your team and people you care about?

We encourage you to see this week (or any week) as an opportunity to reach out to those around you and ask “How are you doing?” (and no, not as Joey from Friends). Maybe ask it twice...but ask, and then most importantly, listen… Or ask yourself, how am I doing, and have a chat to someone. Small things can make all the difference.
