Maintenance person

We are looking for a ‘jack of all trades’ superstar to manage the maintenance at the highest standard across our two of our facilities in Feilding.
Your responsibilities include:
Painting, repair work, minor carpentry and plastering
Plumbing, resolving blockages, changing washers
Electrical, Identifying and resetting circuit breakers, replacing fuses, changing light bulbs
Identifying, reporting, and fixing problems
Water testing, hot water temperature monitoring and adjusting tempering valves
Preventative maintenance on water systems (Bore) and rural septic systems
Ordering maintenance and cleaning supplies/stock and managing tools and resources
Working with IQP’s to ensure relevant building compliance
Working with and coordinating trades and contractors for any maintenance work that requires tradesman qualifications
With a passion for building maintenance you’ll be a strong all-rounder with a broad range of tools in your belt. You’ll be known as approachable, personable and organised. You’ll have a high standard of workmanship including compliance with all aspects of Health and Safety legislation. You’ll have a logical and practical approach to general maintenance and liaising with trades and contractors will come naturally to you.
To see your success in this role, you will have a trade qualification and/or at least three years general maintenance experience. This a full-time role working between the hours of (7:00am – 5:00pm) Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required for call outs.
