Builder (Foreman)
We are fortunate to have a sizable number of builds underway and a strong portfolio of work ahead of us. This means we are on the hunt for a qualified carpenter who is looking to start a pathway to leadership.
From foundations to finishings, you will be delivering high quality, new builds on time for our valued clients throughout the Manawatu and Horowhenua regions. You will start the role working with a small building team on new build homes, all at different stages of construction and with a stable schedule heading into 2021. When you clearly demonstrate that you’ve got this part nailed (excuse the pun), the plan is to give you the opportunity to lead a small team of trades (builders, landscapers and painters) supported by experienced project managers and builders.
We are looking for somebody who prides themselves on the quality of their trade and brings a high level of energy and commitment each day. You’ll value being part of a tight team who all enjoy playing their part in a bigger team. Safety is paramount so you will also have a “Safety First” commitment to everything you do.
If you have solid New Zealand residential / new home building experience, a NZ Certificate in Carpentry or equivalent building trade qualification, then this could be your new role. LBP is preferred, but not essential.
You must also have a current and full NZ driver licence and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
